Lifewater International
It is a disturbing fact that every minute a child dies in some marginalized region of the world because of a water born illness. Why this is so distressing is because it is preventable. Since 1977 Lifewater International, founded by William Ashe and family, have given clean sustainable water systems to over 35,000 families in marginalized societies around the world. Ministry of Hope Lesotho
26 children. That is about the rotating number usually housed in the Ministry of Hope Lesotho, a small complex of house and yard located outside of Maseru, the capital of Lesotho. They range in age from a new born baby to a college student. Focusing on helping the orphans the Ministry of Hope has evoilved into a combination orphanage, adoption site (four children were adopted this last year) to a family reunion center finding and reuniting families.
Located in the southeastern corner of South Africa is the small high-altitude country of Lesotho. Near the north western edge of Lesotho on the Caledon River is the capital city of Maseru, a community of approximately 331,000 people.
Lesotho gained its independence from Great Britain in 1966 and has since started its economic growth, but still over 40% of the population lives on less than $1.25 per day.
The Ministry of Hope was created by Mamonyane Mohale (nutritionist and public health nurse) and Nancy Dimmock (former mission worker for the Presbyterian Church USA) in 2009 to nurture and improve the health of impoverished orphaned children.

Wednesday Pantry
The Coronavirus has changed everything, from Sunday worship services in the sanctuary with social distancing and masks, and videos of the Sunday Worship Service available on the website.
Along with the new term in our vocabulary, social distancing, our method of reaching out into the community has been forced to change.
Gone is the Wednesday afternoon Many Meals. Instead of preparing nearly 500 meals every Wednesday afternoon we now have the Many Meals Pantry.
To watch a video and hear Kay explain the process click on the link Many Meals Pantry.
